Gaius Vault
Gaius Vault runs inside your company. It answers questions from your contracts and policies and works in the apps your legal team opens every morning.
30-minute call with our team.
6 changes compared with your standard MSA. Two need your decision: the liability cap in § 9.2 is raised to 24 months of fees, and § 14.1 adds termination for convenience.
Redlines from MSA_customer_v3.docx.
Gaius Vault is a private AI environment installed in your company on a dedicated machine. Your legal team uses it to review contracts and to answer the questions the rest of the company sends every day. All of it happens on your premises, under your company's control.
A day in legal
Requests reach legal from every department. Gaius Vault prepares the first answer from your own documents, so your lawyers start with a draft instead of a blank page.
"The customer sent our MSA back with their edits. Can we sign today?"
6 changes compared with your standard MSA. Two need your decision: the liability cap is raised to 24 months of fees, and the customer added termination for convenience.
"Which supplier contracts renew automatically next quarter?"
7 of 112 supplier agreements renew automatically between January and March. Notice periods range from 30 to 90 days. Full list with clause references below.
"Can we share employee data with the new payroll provider?"
Your data protection policy allows it with a signed data processing agreement. The provider's draft agreement has no list of sub-processors, which section 4.2 of your policy requires.
"What is our exposure under the three largest customer contracts? We need it for tomorrow's board meeting."
One-page summary for each contract: liability caps, penalties, exclusivity and change-of-control clauses, with clause numbers.
Your lawyers review each answer and make the call. The reading and comparing is done before they open the file.
Every document
Gaius Vault answers from your whole document collection: contracts, policies, templates, board resolutions and correspondence. You decide how wide it looks. Ask about all documents at once, a set you pick, or a single file. Each answer shows the document and clause it comes from.
New documents join the collection as soon as you add them.
Your standards
Write down your company's positions: the liability cap you accept, your payment terms, confidentiality periods and the clauses you never sign. Gaius Vault checks each contract against them and marks every departure in the document.
The same standard applies whether a contract lands with your newest hire or with your general counsel.
6.1 The Customer shall pay each invoice within ninety (90) days of receipt.
9.2 The total liability of the Supplier shall not exceed the fees paid in the twenty-four (24) months preceding the claim.
17.3 This Agreement renews automatically unless terminated with six (6) months' notice.
Use cases

Gaius Vault runs on a dedicated machine inside your company. Your documents, questions and answers are processed there. No external AI provider receives them, and no model is trained on your files.
This opens AI to documents your company keeps out of public services: deal files, employee data, disputes and board materials. One contract covers the machine, the software, setup and support.
